Thyroid Nodules Biopsy and Ablation Training Platform

The THY-B01A training platform is designed to enhance hands-on practice for various thyroid procedures performed under ultrasound guidance, including:

THY-S01: Thyroid pad with two 2 cm OD nodules for MWA, RFA, laser ablation, and cryoablation.

THY-S01A: Thyroid pad with one 2 cm nodule and one enlarged 3.2 cm OD nodule for MWA, RFA, laser ablation, and cryoablation.

THY-S08: Thyroid pad with two 2 cm OD nodules for ethanol ablation (PEI).

THY-S02: Thyroid pad with two 2 cm OD nodules for CNB training.

THY-S03: Thyroid pad with two 2 cm OD cysts for FNA training.

THY-S06: Standard neck muscle pad.

THY-S07: Neck muscle pad for enlarged thyroid pad.

THY-S05: Gel for electro-conduction in RFA procedures (60 mL/pack, compatible with human body impedance; required only for THY-B01 model).

Thermal Ablation Training (RFA, MWA, Laser):

Each THY-S01 or THY-S01A thyroid pad contains two nodules and can accommodate:

• 6 users (5 minutes per person)
• 4 users (10 minutes per person)
• 2 users (15 minutes per person)
• 1 user (30+ minutes per person)

Actual usage may vary based on ablation settings and device frequency.

Cryoablation Training:

• Each nodule can be used for 5 ablations. After freezing, the nodule must be allowed to thaw and return to its original state before the next ablation session.

Core Needle Biopsy (CNB) Training:

• THY-S02 contains two nodules, each allowing for approximately 10 biopsy attempts.

Fine Needle Aspiration (FNA) Training:

• THY-S03 contains two cysts, each holding 8 mL of fluid for aspiration.

Neck Muscle Pad Puncture Limit:

• The neck muscle pad (THY-S06/THY-S07) can be punctured up to 50 times.

Gel for Electro-Conduction in RFA Procedures (required only for THY-B01 model) :

• During a single training session, one pack of gel (THY-S05) can be used for up to five thyroid pads.

• To ensure sufficient supply, it is recommended to prepare an extra pack.

• Once opened, the gel must be used immediately. If training sessions are conducted on different days, a new pack of gel is required for each session.

• Quotation and Shipping Terms: 
  • Standard quotations are based on Ex-Works (EXW) terms, meaning prices do not include shipping fees, taxes, or duties.
  • Customers can arrange their own shipping, provide a courier account for shipment, or authorize us to arrange shipping and provide a freight quote.
  • If a shipping quote is required, please provide a complete delivery address.

• Shipping Classification:

  • The HS Code for this product is 9023.00.90.00-6 (training model category).

  • For European shipments, the HS Code is 90230080 (instruments, apparatus, and models for demonstrational purposes).

• Lead Time:

  • Standard production and delivery time is 30 business days. Urgent requests can be discussed.

  • Production will begin only after receiving a formal order (signed quotation or customer purchase order).
  • Shipment will be arranged only after payment is received.

• Storage and Expiry:

  • THY-S01 and THY-S01A, when unopened, can be stored at room temperature for 3 months or refrigerated for 6 months.

• Single-Use Policy:

  • The thyroid pad and gel must be used on the same day once opened.
